Merge Record
Duplicate company records are a common issue in CRM systems and can lead to fragmented data, duplicate communications, and inaccurate reporting. To help resolve this, the BuddyCRM team has introduced a Merge Records feature, allowing you to combine duplicate records while preserving the information you want to keep.
This can be used for Leads and Accounts and allows the user to select & validate the record to merge into. More information about using this feature can be found at https://www.support.buddycrm.com/knowledge-base/merge-records/
Quote Improvements
We have made some navigational and visual improvements to the Quote module to improve efficiency. Some of these include:
- Add in owner filters onto the quotes list, allowing you to filter quotes by owner
- Show quote number on opportunity where ‘download quote’ is
- Make company hyperlinked from both quote list and quote view screens
- Showing linked opportunity on quote view and making this hyperlinked
Quality of Life Improvements
Some of the general system improvements made to improve the product:
- Opportunity auto job number: added in spacing to the opportunity name, so that this stands out easier.
- Opportunity contacts: added the ability to unlink a contact from an opportunity as this previously was not possible.
