MS87 Release Notes

New features

Quote traffic lights

BuddyCRM’s Quote module lets you guide users with a clear traffic light system that shows the profitability of each line item at a glance. We’ve expanded this feature to offer up to ten fully customizable bands with colours you choose, giving you even more control and insight.

Signup form customisation

We’ve introduced powerful new styling options to the marketing signup form, giving you total control over its look and feel. Every element can now be customised, from font colour, style, and size to background and grid colours. This lets you perfectly match your signup form styling to your website’s design and deliver a seamless user experience.

Re-Captacha simplification

Based on user feedback, we have simplified the types of re-CAPTCHA questions utilised on the marketing signup form to remove some of the more complex questions being asked. This will improve conversions by making the form more straightforward to use.

Quality of life improvements

Holiday delete

We have added the ability to remove holiday appointments from the calendar module. This feature can now be utilised more effectively to represent when staff are or aren’t on holiday.

Webhook logs screen

We have revamped the webhook logs screen in Administrator to show the full JSON request that was sent as well as the response. This will make it simpler to troubleshoot integration issues with 3rd party applications.

Email marketing – image dimensions distortion issue

We have improved our email marketing builder so that images will not resize differently on delivery compared to how they look within the editor screen.

Bug fixes

Activity feed sort order

We have fixed an issue that could occur with elements being out of date order on the activity feed.

Report output formats

We’ve resolved an issue with our report exports to Excel so that numeric fields are now formatted as numbers and date fields as dates.

View in browser spaces

For emails sent from the BuddyCRM marketing suite, we have reduced excess spacing around the ‘view in browser’ button, so that this is clearer and easier to read on a mobile device

Mobile & visual enhancements

As part of our continual improvement process, we have made further improvements and optimisations to the user interface & user experience (UI & UX) of the BuddyCRM application on a mobile device.

Some of the system areas that have been tackled include:

  • Administrator
  • Calendar
  • Quote
